About the services that CapWealth Advisors provides its clients, Ryan says: “We listen closely to each of our clients and then advise them on the specific investment options that make sense for them, their personalities and their overall goals. We’re not in this business simply to trade stocks and funds, but to take strategic financial steps that make sense and help an investor succeed in the market and secure a better future for his or her family. We get a great deal of satisfaction when that happens.”

Prior to coming to CapWealth Advisors, Ryan served as director of portfolio operations and trading at Carret Asset Management. He’s also held operations and trading positions at Credit Suisse First Boston, Morgan Keegan and other private institutional asset management firms. At Credit Suisse First Boston, Ryan was instrumental in implementing and managing a global reporting and trading platform for high-net-worth clients in the Americas and Europe.

Ryan holds FINRA licenses including the Series 4, 7, 53, 63 and 65, is actively involved in the firm’s Investment and Regulatory Compliance Committee and is registered as the CapWealth Advisors’ municipal securities principal and options principal. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and his MBA from St. Peter’s College with an emphasis in Management.
