Timothy J. Pagliara, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
CapWealth Advisors LLC

Tim Pagliara, Chairman, Founder and CEO of CapWealth Advisors LLC, is a long-time veteran of the securities industry and an advocate for financial responsibility. His thought leadership provides a foundation for strategic wealth achievement done with integrity.

"Helping our clients meet and exceed their financial goals is the most important thing we can do to ensure financial achievement – both theirs and ours," Pagliara says. "And to do it with integrity is of vital importance. The bond of trust between a client and an advisor is won daily. It will only grow into a long term relationship if you always put doing what's right for your client first."

Tim formed Capital Trust Wealth Management in Franklin, Tennessee in early 2000 after nearly 20 years in the industry. The firm now operates as CapWealth Advisors, LLC, and CapWealth Investment Services, LLC, where he remains involved in all aspects of investment counseling, GIPS compliant portfolio management and personal financial planning.

Tim's newest business venture, CapWealth Insights, LLC, hosts, monitors and interprets performance reporting for family, corporate, entertainment and state offices that do not have access to reporting that measures with certainty to ensure transparency and compliance.

Through his 30 plus years of experience, Tim Pagliara has grown in his passion for promoting awareness about the national debt problem. In 2012, Tim founded Enact the Plan, a grassroots awareness campaign to educate the public about the Simpson-Bowles Plan. At the end of 2012, Tim joined forces with Erskine Bowles and Sen. Alan Simpson's Fix the Debt campaign. Fix the Debt (www.fixthedebt.org) is a non-partisan movement to put America on a better fiscal and economic path. Tim currently serves as the Co-Chairman of the Tennessee Steering Committee for the campaign beside former Governor Winfield Dunn. Tim is asked to speak nationally to address the issue of our national debt and to engage communities to get involved and back solutions.

Tim is founder and president of the St. Joseph's Teachers College Foundation whose non-profit mission is to support the education and certification of teachers in science and math in Moshi, Tanzania. He is a member of the Chaminade College Prep School (St. Louis) Board of Trustees and has served in Nashville area leadership positions for the Heritage Foundation, Carnton Plantation, Battle Ground Academy, the Boy Scouts of America and Saint Thomas Hospital.

Tim earned his undergraduate degree at St. Louis University and a law degree from St. Louis University School of Law. He is a graduate of the Wharton School Securities Industry Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.

An avid outdoorsman, skier and hiker, some of his achievements include hiking to the base camp of Mount Everest and climbing Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro six times. He also spends time at sea level and is licensed as a United States Coast Guard 100-ton Master Captain.
